Berkeley Editions is excited to announce the addition of the beautiful Tim Storrier collagraph 'Evening Line' to the Berkeley Editions Gallery.

Tim Storrier is one of Australia's most notable award winning artists and he is renowned for his dramatic 'Blaze Line' paintings. The series evolved after an experimentation with three-dimensional constructions set alight in remote and barren locations in the outback. The resulting paintings are breathtaking interpretations of the vastness of the Australian landscape with it's limitless space and horizons set ablaze.

"For me" says Storrier, "the romance begins where the horizon ends, the point at which it touches the sky. I have in my paintings, a compulsion to keep pushing the horizon line further and further back."

Born in Sydney in 1949, Storrier studied at the National Art School in Sydney and was the youngest person to win the Sulman Art Prize in 1968 at the age of 19. He repeated this again in 1984 and in 1994 was awarded the Order of Australia (AM) for his services to art in Australia. In 2012 Storrier won the prestigious Archibald Prize with his self portrait 'The Histrionic Wayfarer (after Bosch)'

Storrier's work is recognised throughout the world and hangs in many major collections including the National Gallery of Australia, the Louvre Museum in Paris, the National and Tate Galleries in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in New York.

It is with great pleasure that Berkeley Editions is offering Tim Storrier's Limited Edition Hand Printed Collograph 'Evening Line' for sale.
